A discussion on the location of academic legal information literacy education curriculum in China

    For the legal researchers, especially for the master candidates and doctoral candidates, it is necessary for them to make academic research based on literature information resources when selecting a topic of thesis, or starting to write an opening topic or paper. In other words, the legal researchers should have the ability of two aspects: one is for to collect the literature information resources efficiently and accurately, the other is to write paper or to do research by using writing skills. Obviously, the literature information resources is the most important resources of studying for the legal researchers. In the information age and the international era,

when having legal information literacy courses of the university , the teachers are how to cultivate the students' information literacy, how to improve their study ability, how to train the legal talents to meet the needs of the society? This requires higher education to change in both the way and the content, advancing with the times. In other words, it is necessary to relocate the information education curriculum of college for law students and to improve their information literacy to meet  the needs of the society. The legal talent not only has the value of the legal craftsmen, but also the social value of the legal person. Through the "teach to fish" way to let the students take the legal information literacy education as the leading factor, taking the research, evaluation and utilization of literature resources as the means, achieve the goal of instructing students to standardize the writing of academic papers and effectively improve the ability of innovation, and form a positive attitude of willingness of questioning, inquiry, operation and striving for knowledge.
